A had a friend in Middle School whose Mom would make these for us when she had friends over. I’ve never seen them done since, so I somehow credit this to her. Who knows, it may be widely popular already. Just in case you’ve yet to try it, let me show you a wonderful way to use those grocery-store Ready-to-Bake Crescent Rolls (any brand will do of course!)…Just follow the directions below…
Alright, hands up in the air, I admit it…I have Baby Fever! And this little boy was no help in the matter. Just look at him…So sweet and sleepy and with such cute little wrinkles…Oh, I just love it! He is such a good-natured and handsome newborn! I think his parents even said he is already sleeping through the night, at one week of age! Is that a Super Baby? Maybe!
But, I have to say, for all the ups and downs, I am really, truly, loving Parenthood. I feel like we’re getting in a “groove”, so to speak…Like things are really coming together, and sometimes, just sometimes, & fleetingly, I think, “Man, I’m kind of a good Mom”. The rest of the time, of course, I second-guess myself and just hope that I’m making the right decisions, and not traumatizing my baby in any way that will negatively affect her for years to come. Ah, Parenthood. All this to introduce today’s photos…One of my favorite things about parenting is finding ways to squeeze “magical” moments like this into our daughter’s daily life…
I woke up Sunday morning thinking we could use something a little festive to get the day started. I looked around for ideas and saw this cute little Cake Pop maker tucked in the corner of the pantry. My sister lent it to me to try out and I haven’t had a chance yet. But, Cake Pops for Breakfast (or even donut holes), as tempting as they may sound, didn’t sound like the right kick-start to the day. I decided to make “Waffle Pops”! Why not?…
The thing about playground equipment is it’s usually a bright color and it bounces all over onto your kid’s skin tone when you’re taking photos of them. Have you ever noticed that?? So, I processed these with a bit of a “vintage” tone, to pretend the color variation was on purpose!
